Odd title, I know, but that is exactly what Maggie was wearing when I saw her at the barn before her photo session. I was a little concerned at first that was going to be her attire for her photo shoot, and I immediately started planning all the head-shot close up poses I could think of to avoid the muck boots in her photos....I should have known better. Smart Maggie changed into her photo session after bathing Chartwell & getting him ready. Sigh of relief. I was also thrilled to see just how gorgeous Maggie is without her helmet on - she actually has beautiful long hair hidden under that helmet!
Maggie is a whirlwind of words, a vortex of verbs....that never stops! She is an extremely outgoing and friendly young woman, always full of chatter, ideas, and stories. You just can't help getting swept into tornado Maggie's world when you are around her, and I love every minute I spend at the barn with her. She makes me feel 10 years younger just being near her. When I asked Maggie what kind of photos she wanted, she told me she wanted better photos than the ones that a rival for a boy at school had on her Facebook page. LOL- think I can handle that. At least Maggie wanted to be in the photos with her horse :)
Chartwell made it so easy to take photos. He's just one of those horses that always has his ears up, interested in his surroundings, with a calm, quiet demeanor. Maggie was a superstar model & rocked out the different poses I asked for without any problems and we rolled through her photo session in record time. I wish they all could go like this! I couldn't have asked for more - and then, I got more, because a breeze kicked up, softly blowing Maggie's hair - photographer ecstasy! I was beyond thrilled w/how her images turned out, what do you think?
