Cutting Edge Equine Veterinary Photo Shoot

Recently I had the opportunity arise to take photos for the upcoming website of Nicky Wessel DVM and the Cutting Edge Equine Veterinary practice. Dr. Wessel needed a variety of shots of herself "in action" performing various examination techniques, images of her veterinary practice on wheels, diagnostic equipment, etc. Once their new website is up and running, I will make sure to post the link so everyone can see all of the images I took!
We had perfect weather - a beautiful sunny morning, and thankfully, Dr. Wessel didn't have any last minute equine emergencies to attend to. Not only did we get to do the photo shoot, but were rewarded for our hard work with her wonderful homemade rhubarb coffee cake (sooo yummy!)
My goal for this session was to try to capture Dr. Wessel's compassion and caring nature when it comes to the equines she cares for. She really gets personally involved with each horse and will got the extra mile to ensure your horse gets the care it deserves. Her "right hand" Leslie Beeftink, assists with every aspect of the practice and can always be counted on to be there when Dr. Wessel needs an extra hand or two (plus she owns a draft horse so she gets big points in my book). These two ladies are quite a team and I hope I was able to capture their devotion to the health and welfare of the equines they care for.
